Health and Safety

BDS UK Ltd are fully commited to Health and Safety. We have a Health and Safety representative who regularly checks all our policies and updates all risk assessments and method statements. Our Health and Safety Management System is regulary audited, and we are working towards obtaining our ISO18001.

We produce and maintain our health and safety policies, procedures, site specific risk assessments and method statements. All employees are fully inducted on these Policies and Procedures at commencement of employment and ongoing training is provided on a continuous basis, via site inductions, toolbox talks, in-house training and any changes to legislation.

Our Health and Safety representatives are also responsible to assess the training requirements of all our employees to ensure that all staff are competent to carry out their duties, including but not limited to, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and Working at Height Training. Several members of our staff are fully trained in first aid and are sent on refresher courses on a regular basis.

We have now achieved or are currently working towards obtaining the following Health and Safety Accrediations. Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS), SAFEcontractor and Constructionline.
